Self-Worth and Self-Belief

Not intelligence, not looks, not talent but confidence is the number one predictor of a person’s success and happiness.

From ‘confidere’ meaning to have full trust, to be confident is to trust in yourself and have unshakable faith in your own intuition and inner voice.

Fake confidence is the display of the ego, the way you see ‘narcissists’ for example bragging about their accomplishments looking for validation. It’s insecurity masquerading as cockiness. Real confidence is the silent inner knowing and trust that you always know what to do in each situation as it arises. It doesn’t boast or seek anything at all externally.

There’s no way to develop real confidence without a solid spiritual practice. Silence, meditation, yoga are the foundations of knowing oneself therefore trusting oneself therefore having true confidence.

With inner trust/confidence as your foundation everything else aligns from there. Your looks, talent and intelligence are enhanced simply from following the cues of the inner Self.
